Intensive Therapeutic Treatment

SeaView’s Partial Hospitalization Program provides treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, including the misuse of alcohol, prescription drugs, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, or other substances. A partial hospitalization program is an intensive, therapeutic environment for clients who do not require 24-hour care yet need more structure than is available in outpatient treatment.

Our program is designed for clients whose misuse of substances does not interfere with their ability to travel to the program each day and who are able to successfully manage their symptoms while at home or residing in our Recovery Housing.

What to Expect

Services are provided at SeaView’s Outpatient Center in downtown Seward, Alaska. The Partial Hospitalization Program runs five days per week, Monday-Friday, from 8am-2pm. After admission, the program works in close partnership with clients and families to focus on creating a customized treatment plan for each individual based on their substance use history and symptoms, the severity of the symptoms, and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses.

Treatment plans regularly include a combination of individual and group therapy, a variety of proven addiction treatment models, and medications that help clients manage their symptoms and transition back to their daily lives.
