ADMISSIONS PROCESS

At SeaView, we understand that seeking treatment, understanding the financial options, and ultimately beginning the admission process can be intimidating. Let us guide you along every step of the process.

Our helpful admissions staff are standing by to speak with you. Once you contact us, we’ll begin the process of getting you or your loved one the help they need.

Connect with Us

There are many ways to connect with SeaView to begin the admissions process. You can begin by making a simple phone call, chatting with us, or filling out the contact form below. You will then be connected with an admissions team member who will gather initial information about your situation and the presenting concerns that led you to reach out for help. All information provided will be held in the strictest confidence. They will provide you with information about SeaView and our services, including programs, average lengths of stay, and costs. Any questions that you have will also be answered.

The admissions team member will then assist you in determining a day and time which is most convenient for you to come in and take part in a free, confidential screening, so that we can determine what program will be the best clinical fit for meeting your needs.

During your intake, you may be asked to provide information such as:

  • Why you are seeking treatment
  • Description of mental health symptoms
  • Description of substance use
  • Trauma history
  • Medication history
  • Treatment history
  • Diagnosis history
  • Other medical conditions/needs

If seeking outpatient services, you will then be matched with the best clinician to provide a full biopsychosocial assessment and begin treatment. If seeking residential or housing services, our team will discuss the information with our clinical team to determine whether or not we will be able to meet your needs. If it is determined that we are the optimal place for you to receive care, we will then discuss which level of care and programming options will be the most effective course of treatment for you.

All clients entering treatment at SeaView participate in a full biopsychosocial assessment that typically lasts for 90 minutes. Our assessment covers many different areas, including learning about your histories with mental health, physical health, trauma, social factors, strengths and struggles in various life domains. We use this to determine what services and providers we recommend as well as to develop your individualized treatment plan.

Following the assessment, your provider will make a clinical recommendation for treatment, which could include a combination of individual therapy, family therapy, psychiatry services, case management, and other supportive services.
