We accept most major commercial insurances, Medicare, VA, and Medicaid. Our Admissions Coordinator can determine quickly what your insurance covers prior to starting treatment.

No, you are not required to have insurance. You can also pay out-of-pocket or see if you qualify for our sliding fee scale.

Yes, we have a fee agent available by appointment. They can help with signing up for Medicaid, food stamps and help with energy bills.

We offer a wide array of services that encompass all levels of need. We provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychiatry services, substance use disorder treatment, recovery housing, mental health residential treatment, and more.
We need to get a signed Release of Information for the location or person you would like the records released to (including one for yourself if directly to you). It typically takes about a week to get records out depending on the need.

Recovery Center Frequently Asked Questions

We provide ASAM 3.5 Residential Treatment and ASAM 2.5 Partial Hospitalization/ASAM 2.1 Intensive Outpatient with Recovery Housing services to people with substance use/alcohol use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Progression through the program is client motivated. Each client is assessed on their participation and progress. Due to this, there are not a set number of days. On average, the program takes approx. 6-7 months.
The program is made up of 3 parts: Residential (30-45) days, Level I or Partial Hospitalization (45-60 days) and Level 2 or Intensive Outpatient (approx. 3 months). Clients will reside at the Recovery Center for all 3. Level of care is determined by ASAM Criteria.

Yes. All SeaView residences and grounds are smoke and tobacco-free environments.

Cell phones will be securely stored during residential and partial hospitalization and clients will not have access. Once a client transitions to Level 2 intensive outpatient, cell phones are returned. Note: We understand that all of our information is stored on our phones, if it is urgent information, then staff can assist with getting phone or making phone calls with the Recovery Center phone.

We currently only take Medicaid insurance. There is also the option of private pay. We do not take commercial insurance or provide sliding fee scales for the Recovery Center.

We are not able to have pets at the Recovery Center.

Developing support networks while in recovery is very important. SeaView’s Recovery Center wants to integrate family and friends into your recovery. Our clinical staff will determine when that time is to ensure best results for all involved. Visitation is not typically allowed during residential treatment.

Yes, we do take 3rd party clients. Our admissions staff does a thorough review of each individual to ensure there are no violent or sexual offenses per the SeaView Residential Admissions Policy. We collaborate with probation/parole/court to provide 3rd party release.

SeaView will respond to all applications submitted within 72 hours. Waitlist times will vary based on bed availability and admission criteria. We will do our best to give you an estimate of how long the wait is at the time of your application. If you are not approved to move forward, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide referrals to other possible treatment centers.

Adult Mental Health Residential (AMHR) Frequently Asked Questions

SeaView’s residential mental health program provides short and long-term mental health services for adults with psychiatric conditions. This includes individuals with co-occurring substance use disorder or development disabilities.

Progression through the program is client motivated. Each client is assessed on their participation and progress. Due to this, there are not a set number of days. On average, the program takes approx. 6-7 months.

Yes. All SeaView residences and grounds are smoke and tobacco-free environments.

Cell phones will be available to clients as long as they are not impeding on their progress. If the client is demonstrating poor participation in groups and clinical sessions due to cell phone use, cell phone will be stored in a security box. Note: We understand that all of our information is stored on our phones, if it is urgent information, then staff can assist with getting phone or making phone calls with the Adult Mental Health Residential phone.
