Lisa Doughty holds a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Lipscomb University (2013) and brings over a decade of diverse experience across multiple behavioral health settings. Her career began in community mental health in Tennessee, where she developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention. She later provided emergency room assessments in Georgia, offering compassionate support to individuals in acute psychiatric distress.
After relocating to Alaska, Lisa continued her work in behavioral health, serving on an inpatient psychiatric unit and later contributing to therapeutic residential and community-based programs, including True North Recovery and SeaView Community Services.
Grounded in empathy and evidence-based practice, her mission is to instill hope and healing for those who struggle with a history of trauma and substance use—helping people to realize their worth. She is dedicated to creating safe, empowering spaces where individuals can rediscover resilience, reclaim self-worth, and move toward meaningful recovery.
