Our Generous Funders
2014 Donors

SeaView would like to thank all our generous donors who contributed to our multiple programs this year. Significant contributions were made by the Seward Community Foundation ($10,000), Barbara Dieckgraeff ($1700), First National Bank Alaska ($1000), and the Resurrection Bay Lions Club ($500) to fund domestic violence safe shelter. Many other individuals, businesses and organizations contributed to our drive for safe shelter funds, and those continued efforts and contributions of time, effort, items and funds are greatly appreciated!

Also, earlier this year, Providence Alaska donated $50,000 to SeaView, part of which ($19,378) has provided a match to a Department of Transportation Grant ($92,800) for the purchase of two handicap accessible vehicles. The State of Alaska also provided a match of $3,822 towards the purchase of the vans, which totaled $116,000. Both vans will have wheel chair lifts and will serve SeaView clients and the Independent Living Center’s TRAILS program participants. We anticipate delivery in December of 2014.

The Kenai Peninsula United Way continued its annual support by making a significant contribution ($10469) to help fund SeaView’s 24 hour Crisis Line. The Crisis Line is manned by SeaView staff 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

SeaView is also grateful for the continued support from the State of Alaska through Mental Health grants. SeaView was recently able to renovate one of the apartments in our transitional housing units to be handicap accessible, and was able to complete deferred maintenance to the main office plaza building. SeaView was also selected by the State to receive funding for energy retrofits for the main office building and four-plex. The retrofits will be completed in 2015.

SeaView will continue to acknowledge our donors and grantors throughout the year. We thank you, and look forward to continuing our efforts to improve the quality of life for our community members!

Our Generous Funders

We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to these generous funders who continue to allow our programs to be possible.
