Our Administrative Team

SeaView's Administrative Team:

Executive Director - Vacant Position

Christine Sheehan – Information Technology Director
  email:

Christine Sheehan began her career at SeaView as an IT consultant in October, 2000, officially joining the SeaView team as IT Director in July, 2003. Christine is responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of integrated information systems including LAN/WAN, VoIP and video conferencing.

Christine’s professional career began in 1975 when she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology from SMU in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. From the start of her career in marine science, she realized the importance of acquiring an advanced understanding of programming and IT systems, and subsequently focused her post-graduate education in these areas.

Her career prior to joining the SeaView team included such things as studying the effects of nuclear and fossil fuel power stations on the marine environment, and salmon brain research, where she implemented computerized image analysis for visual enhancement of neural-chemical pathways. Christine also spent a number of years as a technical liaison aboard a National Science Foundation arctic research vessel where she provided shipboard support to multi-national scientific teams researching weather, oceanography, seismology and glaciology, as well as marine bird, mammal and plankton studies.

Christine has traditionally worked at the cutting edge of scientific research and applied technology. She brings this innovative outlook to her current role, remaining vigilant for opportunities to bolster - through technological advancement - SeaView’s position at the forefront of community service organizations.

                     - Senior and Disabilities Director

  email:

Jill Simpson was born in Bournville, England. She came to the USA on a Rotary International Scholarship and attended the University of Denver graduating with a Masters Degree in Social Work.
